Why proper cooling matters ?
In compacted-conductor stranding, significant heat is generated at the compacting die. If this heat is not controlled properly, the conductor surface can overheat and oxidize, leading to discoloration and other appearance-related quality issues.
Why improvement is needed ?
Conventional coolant supply still relies heavily on manual adjustment and operator experience. Under high-workload conditions or during shift handovers, dosing volume can drift from the required level, increasing the risk of batch-wide surface defects and yield loss.
The role of Smart Doser
Built on Digital VR™’s practical digital retrofit approach, the Smart Doser replaces manual guesswork with more precise electronic dosing control. By synchronizing fluid delivery with line speed and providing refill alert support, it helps reduce operator dependency and stabilize process consistency.

Line-Speed Synchronized Dosing
Automatically adjusts dosing based on line start/stop status and real-time line speed to prevent over- or under-dosing.

Automatic Coolant Level Monitoring
An integrated load cell measures remaining liquid weight and provides early refill alerts to reduce out-of-liquid risk and inspection workload.

Existing Workflow Retained
Designed to fit existing on-site workflows. Parameters can be adjusted locally, with optional remote parameter tuning available through IoT integration.

Consumable Lifecycle Management
Built-in tubing usage tracking supports advance replacement alerts, while the quick-release pump design allows fast and easy tube replacement.
